The tiny South Korean town on Yeonpyeong Island was wiped off the map last week by North Korea’s unprovoked attack. What’s left is something that looks eerily like the aftermath of a zombie outbreak. The image below is just one in a series captured by photojournalist David Guttenfelder. To check out the rest click HERE.
well, the town wasn’t wiped off the map … it was evacuated … granted, the attack was bad and there was a lot of damage and handful of people lost their lives … however, this is a far cry from being ‘wiped off the map.’
And a good thing it was evacuated. I fear many more deaths are to come, and possibly more towns left like the one above.
You’re right!! It does resemble or could resemble an “undead” town. No offence taken, BTW, stuff happens, good, bad and very ugly. Zombie on guys!!!
Kind of tasteless, guys. And too soon. Real people died there and families have been torn apart.
Not intended to offend, just bring attention to the images. All other news outlets are calling it a “ghost town”, fyi.
how is that tasteless and too soon? they didnt say anything offensive..all theyre doing is showing pictures of whats left, grow up
The History Channel keeps doing somthing like that with that “The World Without People” show, showing all sorts of places where humans suddenlly stopped bneing around for all sorts of reasons
(oops, forgot to makr thenotify checkbox)
