When you run most of the chat apps out there these days, especially those that allow you to chat up strangers, you get a whole lot of normal faces, lonely faces, and often random body parts.
Imagine your surprise when you’re dropped into the middle of a zombie apocalypse! A live “video game” with living and undead actors, and you at the controls?!
That’s what happened recently on Chatroulette, Omegle and Skype. The brilliant minds at Realm Pictures took the video chat services to a whole new level by putting a GoPro camera on an actor and putting that actor in a scene right out of a zombie flick, and allowing the viewers to shout out commands which the actor would follow, like “Pick up that crowbar!” and “Hit the zombie on the ground!”

What we’re trying to do is make a live action version of a first-person-shooter. But rather than pre-recording something that looks like a first-person, we thought we’d include the most important element there, which is the player. So we thought, maybe we can take that video, and stream it live to strangers on the internet, and whatever they say, we will do.
Check out this behind the scenes video of how this brilliant concept was pulled off…
Apparently there is a “top-secret” sequel in the works.
