This January, the hotly anticipated Exo Zombie mode for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare by Sledgehammer and Activision will be hitting the shelves, and it promises to take the zombie apocalypse to the next level!
Among the many new features to the franchise, like new artillery, game mechanics and all manner of futuristic gadgetry, the player also lives inside of an exo-skeleton that allows maneuverability never before seen in previous CODs.
To amp up the excitement and level the playing field, Sledghammer has decided to imbue the zombies with exo capabilities themselves, allowing them to move and jump like the critters in World War Z. In fact, in the following trailer, there is a scene that looks like it was ripped right out of WWZ (when the undead started scaling the Jerusalem Wall, as viewed from the side door of a helicopter).
There was a lot of speculation that a zombie mode would be included in the new release of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare went it went on sale November 4th. But many were disappointed when the zombie mode was MIA. An official statement by Sledghammer indicated that adding a zombie mode was a pretty late decision by them. Their main concern was that making players super-human with exo-suits, zombies would be little more than target practice. So they injected the undead with World War Z-esque strength and agility, and the results are basically zombies on meth! This new mode is scheduled for January, 2015, in the Havoc DLC pack.
