To celebrate the upcoming Blu-ray release of director Ken Wiederhorn’s zombie classic Shock Waves, the restored film is receiving a brand new, limited theatrical run! Originally premiering on Halloween at Georgia’s oldest operating cinema; the Plaza Atlanta Theatre will continue to host the movie throughout the week, after which it will begin its grand tour across the entire country.
The beautiful new DCP “print” comes courtesy of Blue Underground as the result of a long and meticulous restoration process, and will included additional audio commentaries, interviews, trailers and more! But before the original Nazi zombie classic finds its way to Blu-ray, fans will have the opportunity to view the film on the big screen for the first time!
