Earlier this year we covered the release of Zen Studios’ digital pinball table based on Telltale Game’s episodic, award-winning video game series The Walking Dead. Now, pinball powerhouse Stern Pinball, Inc. has jumped into the game with the first-ever, officially licensed machine inspired by the hugely successful AMC television program!
Originally announced via a promotional flyer included in the Blu-ray box set for season four, Stern has promised two official models: the Pro and a Limited Edition premium version including unique special effects such as a fish tank with illuminated zombie heads and a motorized crossbow that will allow players to launch the ball anywhere in the game!
Stern’s The Walking Dead pinball features everything fans would want in a flesh-eating pinball world. Players fight to survive the zombie apocalypse alongside series icon, Sheriff Rick Grimes, by battling zombies and completing various game missions. The game includes multiple zombie toys for adrenalin-filled zombie battles at familiar locations from the show such as the Prison and Cell Block C. A brilliant high-definition zombie-filled art package heightens the player’s excitement.
The pinball machine should begin making its appearance in arcades, bars and other venues across the country very soon. But fans can use discount code DEADSTUFF to receive a 15% discount on products purchased exclusively through the official website.
