The Washington D.C. Department of Health recently launched a zombie ad campaign aimed at encouraging teens to avoid synthetic marijuana, a popular drug that is traditionally sold in convenience stores and gas stations. One ad shows a zombie and his date posing for a picture with the tagline, “No One Wants to Take a Zombie to the Prom.”
Synthetic marijuana is illegal in D.C., Virginia and Maryland. If imposing harsh penalties for the drug’s sale, possession and use isn’t working, we’re not sure how a couple of zombie posters will.
