Well, that was certainly fast! It seems like only yesterday that we were all hearing rumors of a possible Zombieland television series. But today Amazon has officially released the first pilot episode online via Amazon Instant Video. The retail giant recently obtained a number of brand new shows and original programing in an effort to expand their streaming video service, and Zombieland has made the cut. However, now it’s up to fans to decide the fate of the series.
Original writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick helped develop and produce Zombieland for television. But once they reached a distribution deal with Amazon, things began to move forward quickly! And now that the pilot is available online for free, Amazon will be monitoring viewer’s reactions to determine whether there’s a future for the series itself. So be sure to watch the show by clicking here, and let us know what you think!
I think this has promise. LOVED the OnStar idea. BRILLIANT having a “voice of God” to guide them. Was pleasantly surprised by all the product placements. Made it feel much more real. I’d love to see this have about 12 episodes to see where this journey leads!
loved the movie and it just wouldn’t be the same without the same actors from the movie!!!
Pretty bad. Example of everything wrong in adapting a movie to TV.
Yeah, that seems to be the general consensus. Although… the TV show was adapted to a movie and now back again. So it’s gone through an extra couple layers of wrong.
