Remember these Fungi are recently discover so there could be other type of fungi that could cause a person to become a Zombie by taking control over the brain through spores. This is possibly the closest thing to create a real Zombie.
The issue with this fungus is that it doesn’t really turn them into zombies. All it does is gets inside their body and slowly grows (like cancer) until it dies. It keeps on growing after the host is dead but nowhere in the video shows the dead body moving to places. Just think how deadly that could be? A zombie ant going inside the center hive and release the spores onto it’s brothers.
