They wanna be careful doing stuff like that, you might get a crazy who believes it’s real and attacks the actor (I wish that wasn’t a real worry but it really is ¬.¬)…
There are plenty of people who wouldn’t think of the fact they’re not attacking anyone etc.
All those people reacted way too slowly. They’d all be cannon fodder, Battle of Yonkers style. Yup, folks just don’t know how to react. If I saw something like that, I’d either stab em in the eye, shoot em, and ultimately end up getting arrested of assaulting an actor.
