Chicago based indie filmmaker Alex Reynolds produced this short video satire promoting zombie awareness in a world where the zombie apocalypse isn’t such a big deal. Will the coming zombie plague be this easy to overcome? Hopefully so, but probably not.
I don’t get it. Those zombies weren’t any shorter than usual.
It is entirely possible that people will react completely different from how we’d expect in a Z-Poc scenario; one of the major issues we would face is massive public denial, a mindset that would allow the situation to grow worse every day while people hide behind ideas like “Afican Rabies.” If, on the other hand, everyone would look at the infection and say, “hey; that’s a zombie, just like in the movies!” then the response would be much more direct and effective (in theory, at least). Will that happen? Most likely not. Fun video, though.
I have to say that this is probably how things will be like in a post Zombie Apocalypse world for any nation that is able to keep things together. People will probably not be as calm with a zombie around, but it will but more of a “let the authority deal with it” kind of thing. Once all the main hoards are dealt with, people can get back to living a calmer life.
