DAY OF DEAD SOUNDTRACK ON VINYL REISSUED

A little late for that Halloween bash, but definitely not too late for your growing vinyl collection, Waxwork Records is reissuing former White Zombie guitarist J. Yuenger remastered the score of George A. Romero’s 1985 Day of the Dead.  This is creating some concern by previous owners that this reissue will de-value the first pressing.  That remains to be seen, of course.

And in keeping of the theme of the classic film, the records will be issued in crazy “zombie Bub flesh/blood red split” colors.  The retro cover art of John “Tales from the Darkside” Harrison’s classic score (first issue) remains, as well as the liner notes by George A. Romero himself.

Pressing numbers and a release date have yet have been revealed, but we will keep you updated.

Here is a taste of Harrison’s awesome so-80’s soundtrack.
