Horror fans across the country are preparing themselves as the Texas Frightmare Weekend returns to Dallas/Fort Worth tomorrow night! The hugely popular convention will feature a number of amazing artists, celebrities and filmmakers including exclusive reunion panels, autographs and photo opportunities. There will also be special screenings of several cult films throughout the entire weekend, so this is definitely one event you won’t want to miss!
Zombie enthusiasts will also have plenty to celebrate as special guests include cast members of The Walking Dead, the original Dawn Of The Dead and George Romero himself! Also appearing are a number of popular zombie filmmakers and authors like Timothy W. Long; the writer and creator of Among The Living and Z-Risen: Outbreak.
Conceived by Loyd and Sue Cryer in 2005 as a three day horror convention, the event takes place annually in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex. True to its motto, “The Southwest’s Premier Horror Convention”, our goal is to provide fans with an unrivaled experience by celebrating all aspects of genre films. Texas Frightmare Weekend hosts celebrity appearances, autograph signings, screenings, exclusive parties and horror memorabilia vendors from all over the country. The event is also extremely proud to have featured the rising talents of many Texas “Frightmakers” in screenings, panel discussions and Q & A’s.
The event kicks off tomorrow night; Friday, May 2nd. And in addition to all of the zombie-related festivities, there will be a ton of amazing cult and horror celebrities in attendance.
