Despite our obsession with finding the perfect zombie weapon, often the best decision is simply to run! And video game developer Beatshapers upcoming parkour-inspired title will challenge players to run, jump and slide their way to safety during the zombie apocalypse. Originally announced last summer for the PlayStation Vita, the release date for Z-Run was pushed back to make the game even bigger and better than before!
Now featuring multiple escape routes and exclusive new gameplay modes, Z-Run is finally coming to the virtual PlayStation Store sometime early next month. And to celebrate, the developers have released a brand new trailer with exclusive music by The Spin Wires.
In Z-Run, you never stand still. Anyone who does winds up dead. Stay on your toes if you want to stay alive. The city is a mess after the zombie apocalypse struck, so you need to be agile as well as fast while you attempt to sprint through the crowds of undead assailants. Falling over an obstacle or running head-long into abandoned cars is a sure way to get caught by the legions of zombies.
Of course you’re not expected to survive on your wits alone. Despite the heavy emphasis on running and jumping, the game provides players with an arsenal of weapons and collectibles including guns, bats, wrenches… even an electric guitar!
