AMAZING NEW BLU-RAY CASE FOR THE WALKING DEAD

As brand new episodes of The Walking Dead continue to pull in record-breaking numbers of viewers, McFarlane Toys is preparing another truly impressive Blu-ray case for the series’ fourth season! Tentatively scheduled for release sometime in June, the amazing prototype recently debuted in New York City as part of Toy Fair 2014.

Following in the footsteps of their previous box sets, including a screwdriver-impaled walker and the Governor’s collection of floating severed heads, the upcoming box set features the Tree Walker featured in an early episode of the current season, and is based on the brilliant special effects work of Greg Nicotero.

In this highly anticipated new season, we see Rick and the group of survivors fostering a thriving community in the safe haven of the prison. Sadly, in this brutal world, happiness is short-lived and walkers and outside threats are no match for danger brewing inside the fences. The group’s home and new way of life will be thoroughly tested, and their struggle to survive has never been so perilous.

While the standard Blu-ray is currently listed for preorder on Amazon at $71.99, there’s no official word on the price of this exclusive collector’s edition. However past box sets have retailed for about one hundred and fifty dollars; selling out almost immediately.
