According to The Washington Post a one-person all-terrain vehicle that doubles as a personal watercraft will become the world’s first high-speed, commercially available amphibious vehicle in just a few weeks.
At a cost of approximately $40,000. the vehicle known as a Quadski is the brainchild of Michigan-based Gibbs Sports Amphibians.
Company founder Alan Gibbs had this to say about this his new creation:
“You just drive straight into the water, quite fast, and keep on going. It’s sort of magic!”
The Quadski is being marketed to outdoor sportsmen and disaster first responders, but it also may have useful applications in the coming zombie plague.
