If you’re a fan of AMC’s hit zombie series The Walking Dead you’ll be excited to hear that the Universal Parks in Orlando and Hollywood will be recreating an elaborate Walking Dead live experience for their Halloween Horror Nights events this year.
Walking Dead executive producer Greg Nicotero came up with the idea of turning the show into a physical reality at the Universal Parks because he’s a longtime Horror Nights fan himself.
“We’re providing Universal with the exact same molds and make-up pieces that we used on the show. Our goal here is to give fans of the show as authentic an experience as we possibly can.”
The Walking Dead mazes are under construction at both the Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios, and will include memorable settings from the first two seasons of the acclaimed series.
The goal is to put the public inside the world of the show, experiencing the same fear and anxiety that the characters do on screen. We’re scared already!
