THE WALKING DEAD AS A SITCOM?

This Sunday is the mid-season relaunch of The Walking Dead Season 2. To mark the occasion, we’ll be doing related posts for the next couple days. Here’s a great alternate intro for the hit series, as if it were a sitcom from the 1980’s. Too funny.

  1. Well….it looks like you were right after all!!!
    Dale and Shane both dead.
    Shane zombie-iezed.
    Lots of new twists.
Bummer that we have to wait til next season.
    Whenever that is.

    If anything destroys this show
    it’s the waiting between seasons.
    Real people
    aren’t zombies
    and don’t wait forever.

AMC needs to leard this before it’s too late.

  2. No, I don’t think Shane will die off/be killed. Why? It would be bad business for the producers. Think about it: 1) There aren’t many humans left alive so they will need more characters which could be eventually done but not too soon; 2) TV likes anti heroes that aren’t really BAD guys and he’s it; 3) Audience likes him; 4) they need a strong fighter type to keep them protected-make that continue protecting them; Eventuall he can spin off with the blonde (sorry, forgot her name) and every episode can have them doing something; 5) it would be bad business for the baby to be his and he not around – if she carries it full term!
