ZRS LANDS ZOMBIE PANEL AT COMIC-CON

ZRS Head Matt Mogk has confirmed that Zombie Research Society will host an expert panel at San Diego Comic-Con next month.  Focusing on the evolution and impact of the modern zombie of science, survival and pop culture, the panel will cover everything from Romero’s Night of the Living Dead (1968) to the the most recent work being done today.

Mogk, who is author of Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Zombies, says that the panel is shaping up to be a can’t-miss event for zombie fans.

“We’ve got a great line up for San Diego Comic-Con this year. Plus, if all goes well there could be a special surprise guest that will blow the doors off!”

Along with Mogk, confirmed panelists include ZRS Board Members such as Steven Schlozman, MD (The Zombie Autopsies, Harvard Medical School), bestselling author Scott Kenemore (Zen of Zombie, Z.E.O., Zombie, Ohio), and neuroscientist Bradley Voytek (University of California, San Francisco). Joining them will be CNN Geek Out contributor Aaron Sagers, and several other notable experts.

Look for more information on the event to follow soon, and see you at Comic-Con!

  1. WOW I wish I could get to Comicon!. Sadly I have neither the Funds or the Time to travel to the States these days.

Perhaps they can head down to Australia’s version Supanova in the next few years.

  2. Wonder who the special guest could be? Romero or Brooks would be sweet! Too bad I won’t be going. If I lived anywhere on the West Coast I’d drive there but alas I live in Pennsylvania. If it was the Philly Comic-con I wouldn’t even hesitate about going.

  3. That’s fantastic! Wish I could be there – ComicCon would be awesome….Someday!
