ZOMBIE THANKSGIVING by Brandon Leach

Thanksgiving Day is a celebration observed on different dates in the United States and Canada that historically serves to give thanks for a bountiful harvest.  Though turkey is the traditional meal, artist Brandon Leach depicts his pilgrims with a decidedly different appetite.  To check out the rest of Leach’s work click HERE.

  1. The living dead is from a bible doctrine that is nearly 2,000 years old, that depicts all of the human race, that was born in sin.
The text of scripture that suggests the doctrine of all lost souls, before they are born again, by an operation of God (Colossians 2:12&13- on dead people), made without hands (vs.11), is also reported in Ephesians, chapter two, verse one, which we will consider to be the basis of scripture, for this doctrine, which says plainly:
“And you hath he quickened who were dead in trespasses and sins;”

So, the question for somebody who is a spiritual zombie is, have you been quickened (or, made alive) by faith in the sinless, BLOOD sacrifice, of God’s obedient Son. You see, the devil hates the blood of Christ, because of its power to cleanse a soul from sin, and bring him into a relationship that the devil, and Satan, lost in his pre-Adamic rebellion can never have again, so, he subtly subverts souls with deceit, and lies against the truth of a God who cannot lie (Titus 1:2)
. (Isaiah 14- in a King James Bible; because, some bibles, like the New International Version, change Lucifers name to the title given to Christ in the book of Revelation: the Morning Star (Rev.2&22)
In conclusion, a true Zombie will only live by being part of the eternal dead, by taking part in the second death (Rev. 20:14), where at the “great white throne” judgment (Rev.20:11) of the lost souls, who would not repent of their sins, are cast into the lake of fire, and brimstone ( a Sulpher stench, in pitch black darkness- Jude 13; right before the book of Revelation) to spend eternity, separated from God, with the rebellious devil.
“For God so loved the world, that
He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
” For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”
    John 3:16&17
So, you “should not” perish, and, you “might be” saved, if you turn to God, with His help, from your idols (1 Thess. 1:9)
