STILL: A BRILLIANTLY FUNNY SHORT FILM

Despite the recent success of the zombie genre, some of the most refreshingly original films have been small, independent productions. Writer and director Carl Timms continues that great tradition with his brand new debut Still, a clever little comedy that takes place in the zombie infested streets of Birmingham, England.

When a quirky street performer finds himself trapped among the living dead, his only hope for survival is to stay very, very still. It’s a wonderful premise and brilliantly shot, with some amazing special effects provided by veteran makeup artist Stuart Conran. This is one short film that zombie fans are sure to love!

A living statue entertainer is caught up in the middle of a zombie outbreak. He freezes in fear whilst everyone around him flees or dies at the hands of the attacking zombie horde. Left alone in a large open square surrounded on all sides with only his ability to stay very still to save him, he must work out a way to survive.

Starring Joe Capella, James Rowell and Rob Hall; Still has entertained fans all over the world and won a number of awards including Best Zombie Film at the Bloody Horror International Film Festival. Hewes Pictures has even acquired the film for television and digital distribution!
