ZOMBIE BOOT CAMP REALITY SHOW COMING

Warner Bros. International Television Production company (who will invest €25,000), along with Australian multi-platform production company The Feds will be producing a reality television show — an endurance challenge pitting 16 contestants against each other and the end of the world in the zombie apocalypse.  It will be called Zombie Book Camp.

Here is how the television show is described:

Zombie Boot Camp trains 16 contestants for the fight of their lives — the Zombie Apocalypse.

Every episode contestants in two teams will compete in a survival challenge, testing their skills in everything from skull protection to improvised bullets.

The winning team will be given immunity; the losing team must choose three contestants to face the Zombies.

Two contestants will escape but the last to reach the escape hatch will be taken.

In the finale the final two will face 200 zombies including their old team members in a zombie battle.

The Feds took top prize at MIPFormats (Marché International des Programmes) at Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France, helping them secure business with Warner Brothers.   MIPFormat (a division of MIPTV) is an event which takes place annually for entertainment content developers to network with co-producers, buyers, sellers, financiers and distributors.

I guess the question is whether or not this idea is too late to the game.  While zombies are as popular as ever, reality TV has been taking some hits as of late.  Still, I am intrigued, and having Warner Brothers involved might take it to the next level.  Or not.  What do you think?
