MARIE OSMOND & ZOMBIE SURVIVAL

After escaping immediate danger, there are three main challenges facing the affected population in any natural, or unnatural disaster.

It all comes down to finding 1) abundant food, 2) clean drinking water, 3) safe shelter.  Doesn’t matter if you’re dealing with a hurricane in Louisiana, a tsunami in South Asia, or a zombie infestation in your own back yard.  Your ability to access food, water and shelter will either keep you and yours alive, or lead to certain death.

Water and shelter are the focus of other posts, but when it comes to food you might want to listen to Marie Osmond.

Osmond is a spokesperson for Nutrisystem, an assortment of sealed, ready-to-eat food items that never spoil and can be stored virtually anywhere.  A month supply, which includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and a snack, comes in a single, smallish box that will fit in any closet.  What’s more, it’s surprising light, and can be carried by virtually anyone, male or female, large or small.

For disaster survival, consider ordering a month or two, and then store it and forget about it.

When the poop hits to proverbial fan you’ll have at least two months of food (with rationing) to keep you going while you worry about more pressing concerns.
