2.8 HOURS LATER: REAL LIFE SURVIVAL GAME

The undead hordes invade the streets of England once again this year as 2.8 Hours Later triumphantly returns to a number of major cities across Britain including Cardiff, London and Edinburgh! The hugely popular zombie survival game has officially announced the latest dates for its live-action chase, and tickets are already selling out across the nation.

Participants are expected to survive waves of zombies as they make their way across the city, from one secret location to the next until eventually arriving at Asylum; the mysterious Survivors camp and Zombie disco. But beware of the deadly infection that may banish you to the dreaded quarantine area where players take on new life as a zombie themselves!

Understand that at every moment you are being hunted; by zombies, by police, by vigilantes. Starting from a secret border location, you are issued with a map and the address of the first location you must reach, somewhere in your quarantined city. Each location will immerse you further into the world of 2.8, where being bitten by a zombie doesn’t just mean infection, it could mean quarantine.

As you journey further into the game you uncover clues to the location of the mysterious Asylum. Once there, you will be scanned for infection – if you are infected you are transformed into one of the zombie horde. Asylum is a place of refuge for the infected and non infected alike, where both can live in harmony and get down at the Zombie Disco – THE party at the end of the world.

Of course, if you’re more interested in being the hunter rather than the hunted… the organizers of 2.8 Hours Later are currently looking for zombie volunteers. The experience includes a free ticket to the game itself, professional make-up, training and the chance to chase terrified players through the streets of your city!

Take a look and the video embedded below for a brief glimpse of the experience. And for more details including ticket information, a list of cities and volunteer opportunities just visit the official website, or check out 2.8 Hours Later online at Facebook and Twitter.
