The latest sequel in the popular gross-out series Cabin Fever is finally coming to theaters this March… in the UK at least. Unfortunately there’s still no official release date for the rest of the world, including the United States. However the studio has recently released a brand new theatrical trailer that we have embedded for you below!
As the third film in the franchise, Cabin Fever: Patient Zero will serve as the first part of a planned prequel, to be quickly followed by Cabin Fever: Outbreak. Shot on location in the Dominican Republic, the movie will focus on a flesh-eating virus let loose upon a tropical paradise, which may spell doom for a small group of vacationers.
A last minute bachelor party in the Caribbean leaves a group of party-goers ashore on a mysterious island where they stumble upon an abandoned research facility. Two of them start showing symptoms of a wretched flesh eating disease. With little time to find a cure, they search for answers only to find an ominous doctor and his patient who may hold the cure… or may be their ultimate demise.
Directed by Kaare Andrews with a screenplay by Jake Wade Wall, Cabin Fever: Patient Zero stars Sean Astin and is set for release March 17th, 2014.
