POLL: 37% PREFER ZOMBIES OVER FEDERAL GOVERNMENT

A recent poll from Rasmussen Reports found that thirty-seven percent of Americans believe the undead would do a better job than the “brain dead” currently running the federal government. Of course only about six percent of likely voters actually anticipate a zombie apocalypse, but nearly twice as many remain unsure!

The survey of 1,000 adults was conducted in the days before Halloween and uncovered a number of interesting facts including the percent of Americans who have watched a zombie film or television series, how many think such entertainment is bad for society… and the number of those who claim to be prepared for the inevitable zombie apocalypse.

Thirty-seven percent (37%) of American Adults believe the federal government would do a better job than zombies running the country today. But the latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that most Americans don’t share that view, with just as many (37%) who feel zombies would do a better job running the country and another 26% who can’t decide between the two.

The report attempts to survey American’s feelings regarding the modern zombie craze that has seemingly swept the nation in recent years. The poll itself breaks down its findings by political affiliation, sex, race and age. For example; most adults 65 and older think the zombie craze is bad for society, men are more likely than women to belive that zombies would be an improvement over the federal government, while blacks are twice as likely to believe the government would do a better job than zombies.
