ROBOTIC MULE FOR ZOMBIE SURVIVAL

The DARPA Mule is a prototype robot designed to unburden infantry troops by carrying their gear, following them through rugged terrain, and responding to verbal and visual commands.

Imagine it trudging through a zombie horde to deliver needed goods, or even place traps and explosive devices. It could even be used to remotely attack and kill zombies, making infested areas safe.

  1. Uh… What?
How’s this thing gonna place explosives and go hand-to-hand with zombies with no bombs and no hands?
Besides, our EOD guys already have bomb defeating robots that can actually lay explosives with their robot arm… But I’m pretty sure they can’t punch people in the face or pick up and use weapons…
And they’re all kinda slow and noisy! Even that four-legged mutant…
    Umm…
No thanks, Uncle Sam? Maybe we could spend that money on improving battlefield medicine… Or laser guns… Yeah, laser guns!!

  2. When did DARPA rename Alpha dog?! Boston Dynamics has made; little dog, big dog, and alpha dog! Oh and check out their crazy bipedal legs too (the only robot to strut)!
