Personally I think the possibility of sticking something in a zombies head and it not going down is a distinct possibility. The sweet spot is probably the back of the head, near the spine, unlike the front of the head that holds part of the brain that is no-longer in use. Let’s not forget that people have survived getting their head skewered, and have walked out of the emergence room with little damaged to their brain, the exception yes, but something to keep in mind.
