WYOMING GETS READY FOR ZOMBIES

The International Business Times reports that Wyoming state legislator David Miller has introduced a bill to prepare his state for an unforeseen doomsday scenario.

If passed, Miller’s bill would create a state-run force responsible for readying Wyoming for any number of potential worldwide catastrophes, including a zombie pandemic.

“Things happen quickly sometimes. Look at Libya. Look at Egypt. Look at those situations. We wouldn’t have time to meet as a legislature or even in a special session to do anything to respond.”

Wyoming’s Department of Homeland Security has a statewide crisis management plan in place, but it does not cover doomsday scenarios.

If Miller’s bill gets enough votes, Wyoming will become the first state in the U.S. to officially prepare for complete societal collapse brought on by zombies, or other more common natural or man-made disasters.

It’s worth noting the Wyoming was already ranked second best for zombie survivability in the United States by a 2010 Zombie Research Society study. Now it may be poised to take the top spot.

Don’t let them call you crazy, Miller! Remember, you only have to be right once.
