DUCT TAPE FOR WART REMOVAL

Duct tape is often called a super-product because of its many different uses. Just look at the inventive folks above if you have any doubts.

In a survival situation, duct tape can secure field dressings, mend clothing, repair weapons, and even provide an extra layer of bite protection. But did you know it can also remove warts?

A study compared duct tape to liquid nitrogen in wart removal, and found it to be more effective than the traditional process. The duct tape method does require that you wear it daily for two months, along with regularly scraping the wart with an emery board of pumice stone. But once the treatment is completed it is up to 85% effective.

Researchers don’t know if this high level of success is due to a chemical in the adhesive itself, or if daily irritation stimulates our body’s immune cells to attack the wort. Either way, it works.

Yet another reason to include the magic silver tape in your zombie survival kit.

  1. USS Columbia (SSN 771))

“EB Green” as it is called in the submarine community is the green water proof duct tape. Withstands 53 lbs per square inch before it starts to part… You can patch a baseball sized hole in the hull of a sub, with about 12 layers, and still submerge the boat to around 80 feet!

  2. Shave what ever area you are putting this on. I tried this when I was a kid. It works but it’s not worth pulling you leg hair out once a day. I always go with the store bought can on freeze off wart remover. At most you use it twice and the wart falls off in about a week or two.

  3. Duct tape and warts. Who’da figured?
