Even though The Walking Dead mid-season premiere was up against a live Grammy telecast that enjoyed its second largest viewership in the award show’s history, AMC’s hit series blew away ratings records.
With 8.1 million viewers, it topped all-time marks in the coveted 18-49 and 25-54 age groups for a basic cable drama. Looks like zombies are here to stay! This statement may be true for at least for for the foreseeable future.
